THE FIRM
Martyn G. D. Belben started his insurance career as a Broker in the Underwriting Room at Lloyd's of London in 1954 and has been handling property and marine insurance claims his entire career.
He became a professional property insurance adjuster and marine surveyor in 1961.
Martyn Belben & Co., LLC. was established in 1968 and is one of the oldest and most respected firms of Public Insurance Adjusters practicing in Florida that represents the insured policy holder exclusively. We specialize in the preparation, adjustment and negotiation of insurance claims involving physical damage to insured property, from any sudden and accidental cause, primarily in Florida, and by special arrangement, anywhere in the United States or abroad.

Assignments are accepted which involve physical damage to insured residential homes and commercial structures of every description, including condominium and apartment complexes, and hotels etc.; shopping centers and retail properties; sales inventory and/or personal property and all other contents, and all consequential losses resulting from that physical damage, including code upgrades, law and ordinance upgrades, additional living expenses, loss of rent/loss of use, and business interruption/increased costs, etc.
Martyn Belben has lectured and taught insurance students, and is a recognized expert on the investigation, and adjustment of business interruption claims.

All professional staff employed by the company are licensed and bonded by the Florida Department of Financial Services, the arm of Florida government which oversees and regulates the insurance industry, including public insurance adjusters.
